Francine M. Miller, CPA, Partner
Francine graduated Cum Laude from the University of Nevada Las Vegas in 1997 with a Bachelor's Degree in accounting. After satisfying all requirements and receiving her CPA certification in December 2000, she has gone back to school on a part time basis to attain her Masters in Accounting degree from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. She is expected to finish during the fall of 2012.
Francine has over 28 years of experience in the accounting field as a bookkeeper, accountant, and now CPA. Francine joined Layton Layton & Tobler LLP in 1998 and became a partner with the firm in 2005. She has been a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor® continuously since 1999 and enjoys helping her clients to utilize the software to its fullest. Francine's experience includes work with trusts and estates, non-profit organizations such as labor unions and charities as well as small business and personal taxation. Francine recently wrote an article on non-profit taxation updates which appeared in the tax corner section of the "Silver State CPA."
Francine is active in the CPA community. She is an active member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Nevada Society of CPAs. She is a Member of the Association of Accounting Marketers and serves on the marketing board of CPA Associates International, an international association of CPAs of which Layton Layton & Tobler LLP is an independent member.
